In this spring battle, car maker Honda agreed with the union on the 10th that the bonus will be 5.3 months of monthly salary.

The intensive response date is one week away, but the negotiations were concluded early due to the ongoing effects of the new coronavirus.

In the labor-management negotiations held on the 10th, Honda concluded that the lump sum bonus would be 5.3 months of monthly salary.

In this negotiation, the union did not ask for a wage increase equivalent to a base increase to raise the basic salary uniformly, but only for bonuses, considering that business performance is becoming severe due to the influence of the new coronavirus. ..

The agreed monthly salary of 5.3 months will be fully answered as requested by the union.

This year, the 17th of next week will be the intensive response day, but Honda has reached an early conclusion in order to hurry to respond to decarbonization efforts as the effects of the new coronavirus continue.

It is unusual to reach a conclusion one week earlier than the intensive response date.

Negotiations are underway at other automakers over improving the working environment, and we will reach the final stage for next week's intensive response day.
