that has paralyzed its services.

Knowledgeable sources confirmed to Servimedia that a computer attack has occurred, the magnitude of which is being evaluated.

in which it reported that its website and electronic headquarters are not available "for reasons beyond the control of the agency and that it will be notified when they are operational again.

SEPE

has among its functions the management of unemployment benefits and with the current health crisis it has increased its work by having to process the benefits of the

Temporary Employment Regulation Files (ERTE)

.

According to the latest data available for January 2021, total expenses for unemployment benefits amounted to 2,629.5 million euros, which represents an increase of 40.8% compared to the same month of the previous year.

Of this figure, 694 million corresponded to

At the end of the month there were 2,376,847 beneficiaries of unemployment benefits.
