Isn't it a lot more difficult to choose when you can't meet the candidates?

Yes, the search for personnel has become more difficult under the Corona conditions.

We had to move all the selection steps to the digital channels.

The first thing I noticed was that in a video call, the face is so much closer and larger than when sitting together in a room.

Facial expressions and eyes appear more intense.

After a start-up period, however, I realized that it is easily possible to get a personal connection to an applicant via virtual channels.

I thought it was easier for a candidate to hide behind a computer than to be viewed in person.
