Aston Martin DBX Medical Car & Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car -
DR
The British manufacturer will provide two safety vehicles during 12 of the 23 grand-prix which will take place in 2021. The brand will be present during the events with a DBX SUV transformed into a medical vehicle.
Aston Martin DBX Medical Car - DR
Equipped with radios, screens to follow the race, bucket seats and safety harnesses, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.5 seconds, useful performance in an emergency.
Aston Martin Vantage Safety Car - DR
But that's not all, since Aston Martin also supplies a Safety-Car, in this case a heavily modified Vantage.
Adopting a look inspired by the Vantage GT, it is equipped with a large ramp of rotating beacons (like the DBX for that matter), bucket seats and safety elements necessary to ride on the circuit.
Its brakes have also been reinforced, as well as its suspensions.
It will be driven by Bernd Mayländer, official Safety-Car driver in F1 for more than 20 years.
