A report issued by the commercial registration and licensing sector in Dubai Economy stated that 7,090 licenses were automatically renewed, last February.

The report indicated that the commercial licenses topped the automatically renewed license according to the license category, with 5491 licenses, accounting for 77% of the total licenses, followed by professional licenses with 1414 licenses and 20%, while the rest of the percentages were distributed to industrial and tourism activities.

The report indicated that the distribution of automatically renewed licenses during February 2021 came according to the main regions in the Emirate of Dubai, as follows: Deira region with a total of 3665 licenses, then Bur Dubai with a total of 3410 licenses, followed by Hatta region with 15 licenses.

As for the distribution of licenses according to the highest sub-regions, it was as follows: Burj Khalifa, Naif, Al Marar, Port Said, Raqqa Al Bateen, Ayal Nasser, Al Garhoud, First Commercial Center, Hor Al Anz East, and Al Karama.

The automatically renewed licenses were distributed during the past month, according to the legal form, according to the following: Limited liability companies came first with 66%, followed by individual institutions with 22%, then civil works companies by 6%, while the rest of the percentages were distributed to companies with a specific percentage. Limited liability - one person, branches of companies based in another emirate, branches of foreign companies, branches of companies / establishments based in a free zone, branches of Gulf companies, solidarity companies, public joint-stock companies, simple partnership companies, government liaison offices, and private joint stock companies.
