All Nippon Airways announced that a Swiss company that manages information on multiple airlines has been compromised and member information such as the names of about one million people has been leaked to the outside.

Similar damage has occurred at Japan Airlines, but both companies do not share information such as credit cards and passport numbers with this company and do not leak it to the outside.

According to ANA, a Swiss company that manages information on multiple airlines has been damaged by unauthorized access, and the alphabetical notation for about 1 million "premium member" users, including frequently used members. It means that the name and membership number of the company were leaked.



ANA commented, "We deeply apologize for the concern that we have caused to our members and other related parties."



Japan Airlines has also announced that information such as names and membership numbers for about 920,000 people has been leaked, but neither company shares information such as credit cards and passport numbers with Swiss companies, so it is outside the company. It is said that it is not leaking.

According to All Nippon Airways, the damaged Swiss company has already taken measures and no further damage will occur in the future.



Both companies will take measures such as individually contacting the damaged users by e-mail.
