published in its edition of the day, the smartphone brand Wiko, whose head office is in Marseille, announced to its employees during an extraordinary social economic committee on February 18 to implement an internal reorganization. , and therefore, layoffs, via a job protection plan.

For now, Wiko has 97 employees on the Marseille site.

A third of them would be affected by these layoffs according to our colleagues.

The phone brand justifies such a measure by the health crisis.

As a reminder, the French brand, owned by the Chinese manufacturer Tinno, had already carried out a major internal reorganization in 2019, eliminating a hundred positions.
