It is understood that this year, Xuwen pineapples ushered in a bumper year, and the field purchase price has doubled compared with previous years. Large local pineapple growers need to hire young and strong laborers to help grab the harvest.
Xuwen County is a large pineapple production county and has been awarded the title of "China's Pineapple Township". The county's pineapple planting area is about 350,000 mu, with an annual output of 700,000 tons, ranking first in the country in terms of planting area and output.
Xuwen pineapple fruit is big, sweet, fragrant and beautiful. Its products include canned pineapple, pineapple wine, pineapple beverage, preserved pineapple, concentrated pineapple juice, etc., which are sold all over the world.
Xuwen pineapples are available in a small amount from the end of January to the beginning of February each year. March and April are the seasons for pineapples to be harvested in large numbers.
