  According to the General Administration of Customs, it is currently comprehensively advancing the technical preparations for the implementation of the "Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement" (RCEP) rules of origin and tariff concessions.

At present, the drafting of Chinese proposals such as the transition of the standard of origin and the implementation guidelines of the rules of origin has been completed, and will actively promote the early consensus of all parties to RCEP.

  At the same time, the RCEP origin management information system, including functions such as export visas and the application of agreed tax rates, is stepping up preparations for system adjustments.

Among the newly drafted supporting regulations, the "Administrative Measures for Approved Exporters" plans to start the process of soliciting opinions in the near future.

  According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs, in January, the customs handled 1.143 million taxable import declarations, involving taxes of 159.83 billion yuan (RMB, the same below).

Among them, 403,000 customs declarations for guaranteed release, involving 77.57 billion yuan in taxes, accounting for 48.5%.

Among the customs clearance declarations with guarantee, 307,000 customs declarations for release with guarantees from banks and non-bank financial institutions, with a tax of 56.20 billion yuan, accounting for 72.4%; 90,000 declarations for clearance with tariff guarantee insurance guarantee, involving tax 12.66 billion yuan, accounting for 16.3%; 6,000 customs declarations released with margin guarantee, involving 8.71 billion yuan in taxes, accounting for 11.2%.
