The specific content is: In January this year, the completed investment in fixed assets of transportation was 191.2 billion yuan (RMB, the same below), an increase of 42.1% year-on-year, and an increase of 13.8% over January 2019.

Among them, the completed investment in highways and waterways was 143.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 52.3%, and an increase of 11.8% from January 2019.

  In January, the commercial freight volume was 4.15 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 38.0% and an 11.1% increase from January 2019.

Sun Wenjian said that the freight volume has maintained positive growth for nine consecutive months from May last year to January this year.

  In addition, in January, the port cargo throughput was 1.29 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 17.4% and an increase of 13.4% over January 2019.

The container throughput completed 23.77 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 13.2%; an increase of 7.3% compared to January 2019.

  Commercial passenger traffic has dropped significantly.

Sun Wenjian pointed out that in January, 670 million commercial passenger traffic was completed, a year-on-year decrease of 47.3% and a decrease of 52.6% from January 2019.

The 36 central cities across the country completed 4.11 billion passenger trips on public transportation, a year-on-year decrease of 5.0%.
