In terms of foreign capital utilization, in 2020, the total actual utilization of foreign capital in the country was 999.98 billion yuan, an increase of 6.2%, and 39,000 foreign-funded enterprises were newly established, becoming the world's largest foreign capital inflow country, achieving the "three increases" in the total amount of foreign investment, the growth rate, and the global share. .
Among them, the use of foreign capital in high-tech industries increased by 11.4% year-on-year.
From the perspective of projects, there are 938 new or capital increase contractual foreign investment projects of 938 or more, an increase of 12.5%, and a group of leading companies such as BMW, Daimler and Siemens have increased their capital and expanded production in China.
From a regional perspective, the total actual utilization of foreign capital in the eastern region in 2020 will increase by 8.9%, accounting for 88.4%.
The total amount of foreign capital actually utilized in the Pilot Free Trade Zone was 179 billion yuan, and 6472 foreign-funded enterprises were newly established, which accounted for 16.8% and 17.9% of the country.
