Ferrari returns to the 24 Hours of Le Mans -

DR

Officially absent from the 24 Hours of Le Mans for nearly half a century, Ferrari is preparing its return in 2023 to the new LMH (Le Mans Hypercars) category, a new type of racing car created to compensate for the loss of interest of LMP1 class prototypes.

The regulation of hypercars is quite permissive and allows a manufacturer to make his own car from A to Z. It is already confirmed that Toyota will enter a car without this category, the presence of Peugeot is a virtual certainty, we expect also to see Aston Martin.

The year of the return is not chosen at random, since the 2023 edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will celebrate the centenary of the event, and the 50th anniversary of Ferrari's last official participation.

It is already promising to be exciting.
