Dubai index closed at 2527 points, up by 0.8%

The Dubai Financial Market closed today, up by 0.78%, at 2527 points, with trades totaling 338 million dirhams.

By closing at this level, the market will have declined by 49 points for this week as a whole, by 2% compared to last Thursday's close, February 18, 2021.

Shares of 21 companies out of 35 companies traded today rose, while shares of 7 companies declined, and 7 companies remained steady.

Shares of "Union Properties" closed up by 0.8% at 0.262 dirhams, and traded nearly 14 million shares, while Emirates NBD rose 2.3% at 11.2 dirhams, and trades exceeded 4 million shares.

Dubai Islamic shares fell by 0.2% at 4.75 dirhams, and in transactions that exceeded 7 million shares, while the share of "Du" rose 2.3% at 6.8 dirhams, and trades exceeded 5 million shares.

Among the most actively traded stocks was Emaar Properties, as its trading value exceeded 20 million shares, despite the share’s decline by 0.9% at 3.49 dirhams

The Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange closed today slightly lower by two points, at 5628 points, and in high trades, with a total value of two billion dirhams.

By closing at this level, the market would have declined by 15 points for this week as a whole, by 0.3% compared to last Thursday's close of February 18, 2021.

The share of "Aldar Properties" closed up by 0.8% at 3.64 dirhams, and trades exceeded 106 million shares, while the share of "Abu Dhabi First" decreased by 0.9% at 14.7 dirhams, and trades nearly 37 million shares.


"ADNOC Distribution" rose 1.7% at 4.1 dirhams, with more than 62 million shares traded, while Etisalat rose 0.1% at 19.9 dirhams, and traded nearly 18 million shares.
