Direct flights between Macau and Qingdao will resume flights in early March

At present, this route is the only route involving Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan that has fully resumed operation in Shandong Province.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Qingdao office of Air Macau said that the non-stop flight between Macau and Qingdao was suspended in October last year due to the epidemic, and the flight was resumed in early February this year, and the flight will be fully resumed from March 3.

　　The person in charge stated that after the full resumption of flights, the Macau-Qingdao route will be operated every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Qingdao-Macau flight number will be NX021, and the Macau-Qingdao flight number will be NX022, and will gradually increase to weekly. Four flights.

　　As of February 22, there has been no community transmission of the new crown pneumonia virus in Macau, and no local cases (including asymptomatic infections) have been reported for 330 days.

Passengers travelling from Qingdao to Macau on Air Macau flights are required to present a negative certificate of the new coronavirus nucleic acid test valid within seven days after the sampling date.

Macao passengers entering the mainland must provide a certificate of negative nucleic acid test within six days after the sampling date, or a "health code" containing information on negative nucleic acid test within seven days.

　　At present, with the negative report of a valid nucleic acid test within 7 days, there is no need for quarantine between Qingdao and Macao.

The entry-exit administrative department of the Chinese public security organs has resumed processing of visas for mainland residents to travel to Macau (including group travel and individual travel).

　　It is reported that Air Macau opened a direct flight from Qingdao to Macau on August 29, 2018. Qingdao has become one of the nine destinations opened by Air Macau in Eastern China and the first city in Shandong to open a direct flight to Macau.

As of February 24, 2021, the number of flights operated by Air Macau on the Qingdao-Macau route reached 599, with an on-time rate close to 90%.
