The meeting pointed out that it is necessary to actively promote the revision of the "Anti-Money Laundering Law" and continuously improve the anti-money laundering system.

  The meeting fully affirmed the achievements of the People's Bank of China's anti-money laundering work in 2020, analyzed the current situation of anti-money laundering work, and made comprehensive arrangements for key anti-money laundering work in 2021.

Liu Guoqiang, member of the Party Committee and Vice President of the People's Bank of China, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

  The meeting held that the People’s Bank of China will resolutely implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, earnestly perform its anti-money laundering duties, and work with the member units of the Inter-Ministerial Joint Meeting on Anti-Money Laundering to overcome difficulties and actively promote the revision of the Anti-Money Laundering Law and other anti-money laundering systems Continuously strengthen the anti-money laundering coordination mechanism, basically establish a “two-pillar” supervision mechanism for risk assessment and law enforcement inspection, and have achieved remarkable results in anti-money laundering investigations, monitoring and analysis, and successfully completed the chairmanship of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and mutual evaluation and rectification work Positive progress has been made and new achievements have been made in China's anti-money laundering work.

  The meeting pointed out that in 2021, we should base ourselves on the new development stage, implement the new development concept, and strive to build a new development pattern for anti-money laundering work.
