Mohammed bin Zayed issues a decision assigning "Tawazun" to manage the procurement and contracts of the Armed Forces and the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, issued a decision assigning the Economic Balance Council to manage the procurement and contracts of the Armed Forces and Abu Dhabi Police, in addition to its tasks of managing the economic balance program.

According to the decision, the Economic Balance Council shall be responsible for the procurement of the armed forces and the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police in all administrative, technical, contractual, legal, and financial aspects, and follow-up and supervise their implementation.

Responsibilities also include issuing approvals for awarding projects and contracting, and completing executive procedures subsequent to contracting and related matters.
