Japan Exchange Group, which owns the Tokyo Stock Exchange, announced that it will appoint Mr. Hiromi Yamamichi, who is also the president of the Osaka Exchange, which is also under the umbrella of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, as the new president of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Mr. Yamamichi, who will become the new president of the Tokyo Stock Exchange on April 1, is 65 years old.

After joining Nomura Securities in 1977, after working as managing director, he has also been the Chief Operating Officer of the Japan Exchange Group since last year.

Regarding the TSE, the president at that time took responsibility and resigned due to a large-scale system trouble that occurred in October last year.
