It is noted that the share of loans overdue for more than 90 days by Russians in December decreased by 0.2 percentage points and as of January 1 was 4.9%, which was the lowest level since the beginning of May last year.

The volume of "bad" debt in the last month of last year also decreased - by 2.7%, to 979.2 billion rubles.

According to the Central Bank, the total debts of Russians to banks on January 1 amounted to 19.85 trillion rubles, having increased by 0.9% over the month.

Earlier, the Central Bank announced a decrease in the impact of the pandemic on the Russian economy.
