Yesterday, Sharjah Cooperative inaugurated a new outlet in Al-Zubair area, at a cost of more than 35 million dirhams, explaining that the new branch will work as a central headquarters to support the supply of local agricultural products by receiving them at the port, processing them, and then supplying them to other cooperative branches.

The CEO of the cooperative, Majid Salem Al-Junaid, said in a press statement on the sidelines of the opening, that "the new outlet brings the number of branches of the cooperative to 39 in the Emirate of Sharjah."

Al-Junaid added that the area of ​​the Al-Zubair outlet is 7,000 square meters, and it includes more than 15 thousand food and non-food items, indicating that the center will be a central headquarters to provide all branches of the Sharjah Cooperative with local fruit and vegetable products, as the backyard has been designated to receive crops from local farmers. To serve and support the supply of products to facilitate their work.

He stated that a team of employees will clean, package and package these products, to arrive fresh and ready to the rest of the cooperative branches, pointing out that the new outlet will work in the same way with the meat and fish departments and the bakery, to meet the needs of shoppers in all branches.
