After Jaguar, it is Ford which formalizes a radiacal change.
By mid-2026, the manufacturer will offer an electrified version of each of its models, and plans to sell only personal electric vehicles from 2030. A strategy that fits perfectly with the times.
Ford Mustang MACH-E GT - DR
On the utility side, Ford says that 2/3 of its production will be hybrid or electric in 2030. In its evolution, the manufacturer is also announcing the opening in Cologne in 2023 of a production center for battery-powered vehicles, an investment of 'a billion dollars.
And lastly, this new course only concerns European operations, since the heat engine should still exist beyond this deadline in the USA.
