Al-Ghaith explained that the authority has set a clear and precise framework for the improvements and modifications to the aircraft, which must be fulfilled before returning the plane to passenger service, including additional and mandatory pilot training, stressing that “flydubai” will comply with all requirements before allowing the plane to join its fleet.

Continuous maintenance

"Fly Dubai" confirmed that during the period in which its fleet of 11 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft and three Boeing 737 MAX 9 aircraft were suspended, these aircraft were carefully preserved and underwent continuous maintenance as part of a storage program. Active aircraft.

This included specific inspections and checks of up to 18 hours per plane every week of maintenance work carried out to the highest international standards.
