State Duma ratified protocol amending tax treaty with Malta

The changes concern an increase in tax to 15% at source of income in relation to dividends and interest.

In late December, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin approved a protocol on amendments to the agreement between Russia and Malta.

Russia and Malta signed the corresponding document in early October 2020.
