According to trade statistics released by the Ministry of Finance, Japan's exports last month and January increased by 6.4% from the same month of the previous year, the second consecutive month of increase.
On the other hand, last month's trade balance was a deficit of 323.9 billion yen, the first trade deficit in seven months.
