A public-private disaster prevention organization has developed a mechanism in which AI / artificial intelligence determines whether or not to evacuate from a location based on the location information of a mobile phone when a disaster occurs and notifies it with an app.

We are urging local governments nationwide to introduce it.

We have developed the "AI Disaster Prevention Council" created by IT companies, local governments, and disaster prevention research institutes.

When a danger such as a landslide or flood is imminent, AI / artificial intelligence will determine whether to evacuate from that location based on the location information of the mobile phone, disaster prevention information issued by the Meteorological Agency, and hazard maps of the surrounding area. And you will be notified through the free calling app LINE.

In addition to displaying the location of evacuation shelters and the degree of congestion on a map, there is also a function to notify elderly people and pregnant people early.

There are cases where local governments issue evacuation information through the app, but according to the council, it is the first time to call for evacuation individually based on the location information of each person, so we introduced it to local governments nationwide. I'm going to work.

Kiyotaka Eguchi, executive officer of LINE, who is the chairman of the council, said, "I think that a system that delivers only the necessary information according to your current location is indispensable in the future. I want to hurry to prepare for use nationwide." I will.
