Due to the impact of this earthquake, IHI, a major machinery manufacturer, has shut down operations at three factories in Fukushima Prefecture that manufacture parts for aircraft engines, etc., due to the breakdown of electrical equipment.

So far, there is no prospect of recovery.

According to IHI, three factories in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, which manufacture aircraft engine parts, gas turbine parts, and parts used for space development, are shutting down.

In Soma City, we observed shaking with a seismic intensity of over 6 due to this earthquake, and it is said that the production lines could not be operated at these factories because the electrical system equipment was broken after the earthquake.

In addition, the parts manufacturing equipment has been tilted, and there is no prospect of resumption so far, so the company is rushing to recover.
