Data shows that in 2020, the insurance industry has effectively supported economic and social development, providing insurance amounts of 8710 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.6%, and compensation expenditures of 1.4 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.9%.
As of the end of 2020, the total assets of insurance companies were 23.3 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 13.3%.
