Pampered by former President Donald Trump, forgotten by the new American administration of Joe Biden, the Israelis express their frustration.

On Wednesday February 10, the permanent representative of the Jewish state to the United Nations publicly challenged the new tenant of the White House on Twitter, asking him to call Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu.

This distance displayed by Joe Biden can be explained by several reasons.

For years, the Prime Minister of the Hebrew state has increased mistrust against him.

The new Democratic president is opposed to

colonization

.

And as a welcome gift, Benjamin Netanyahu has announced new housing construction in the settlements whenever Joe Biden takes center stage.

This was the case just before Joe Biden's inauguration, but also several years ago, when the latter was vice president of the United States and was visiting Israel.

So, in return, this silence from Washington can be interpreted as a message sent to the Israelis: refusal of colonization with impunity and return to international consensus and the two-state solution.
