Due to the impact of the 3rd spread of Corona 19, it was found that jobs were significantly reduced, mainly in the face-to-face service industry.

Last month, the number of employed fell by nearly one million from the same month last year, and the largest decline since 1998, during the financial crisis.

Since December 1999, at the time of the foreign exchange crisis, the largest decline has continued since March of last year, when the spread of Corona 19 began.



As the third spread of Corona 19 continued to strengthen social distancing, the number of employed, mainly in the face-to-face service industry, decreased significantly.



The number of employed decreased by 367,000 in the lodging and restaurant business, 218,000 in the wholesale and retail business, and 103,000 in other personal service businesses including wedding halls.



As public jobs for the elderly have not started in earnest this year, jobs in the health and social services industries have also turned to decline.



By age, the employment rate fell 4.2 percentage points for those in their twenties, which was the biggest hit.
