  According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China, in January 2021, the entire industry completed 737,000 hours of transport aviation flight, down 30.2% year-on-year; 85,000 hours of general aviation flight, up 100.2% year-on-year.

There have been no aviation accidents, and safety production in the industry continues to maintain an overall stable trend.

As of the end of January, national transport aviation continued to fly safely for "120+5" months, with 90.18 million hours, and safely transported 4.65 billion passengers.

  In terms of production and operation, in January, the overall civil aviation transportation production dropped from the previous month.

The industry completed a total transportation turnover of 6.35 billion ton-kilometers, which was 62.9% of the same period last year; completed passenger traffic of 30.181 million passengers, which was 59.6% of the same period last year; completed cargo and mail transportation of 669,000 tons, an increase of 10.5%.

  The Civil Aviation Administration of China stated that civil aviation cargo and mail transportation is showing a good momentum of development.

In terms of routes, domestic routes increased by 4.4% year-on-year, the first year-on-year positive growth since December 2019; international routes increased by 24.7% year-on-year, a positive year-on-year growth for three consecutive months.

In January, the industry's all-cargo aircraft completed cargo and mail transportation volume of 281,000 tons, an increase of 67.7% year-on-year, maintaining a relatively high growth rate.

  In addition, in January, the entire industry guaranteed 348,000 flights of various types, an average of about 11,000 flights per day.

The national flight regularity rate was 93.9%, maintaining a high level.
