DR
Winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans 1972 with Henri Pescarolo and Graham Hill at the wheel, the Matra MS 670 prototype, estimated between 4 and 7 million euros, was finally awarded at 5 million, excluding costs.
This sale called "La Parisienne" organized by Artcurial also saw some old glories of the rally of the 80s change hands.
Peugeot 205 T16 - DR
Among these, an Audi Quattro S1 sold for € 1.725 million, a Peugeot 205 T16 Evo2 € 820,000, and a Lancia Delta S4 € 680,000.
Almost a side deal, a Ford RS 200 went for € 320,000, and a Rover Metro 6R4 for € 240,000.
The vintage car market is definitely not experiencing the crisis ...
