1.68 billion dirhams, net foreign investment in local stocks since the beginning of 2021

Non-Arab foreign investors continued to pump more liquidity into Emirati stocks, which raised their net investment to 1.68 billion dirhams since the beginning of the year 2021, and until yesterday, according to the figures released by the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange and Dubai Financial Market.

The recorded increase in the net investments of non-Arab foreigners came as a result of the large increase in the value of their trades, which amounted to 12.5 billion dirhams, both buying and selling since the beginning of this year.

Foreign transactions during the monitoring period constituted 28.7% of the total transactions concluded in the financial markets, which amounted to 43.53 billion dirhams, both bought and sold.

The figures showed that the net investment value of non-Arab foreigners in the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange reached about 970 million dirhams since the beginning of this year until yesterday.

The net foreign investment recorded in the capital market came as a result of purchases worth 4.87 billion dirhams, compared to sales of approximately 3.9 billion dirhams during the monitoring period.

In the Dubai Financial Market, net foreign investments amounted to about 710 million dirhams, according to the figures released by the market during the same monitoring period, which came as a result of purchases of 2.22 billion dirhams and sales of 1.51 billion dirhams.
