The reporter learned from the Hainan Provincial Department of Commerce and duty-free shopping stores on outlying islands on February 3 that this new regulation is currently being implemented in nine outlying island duty-free shopping stores on the island.
Du Biaoling, deputy general manager of the Hainan branch of China Post Group, said that the postal department has developed a new information system to mail duty-free goods using the standard of "college entrance examination admission notice".
From October 1, 2020 to February 2, 2021, a total of 3,490 duty-free packages were tested, and duty-free items such as wine, luggage, and electronic products were mailed to multiple provinces, achieving zero loss and zero Complaints, the operation is stable, all preparations are ready, and the conditions for carrying out the "mail service" business are met.
