The line starts from Lishi Street in Shenfu Demonstration Zone and ends at the reserved section of the existing Shenyang Hunnan Tram Line 5, runs through the east-west backbone of the tram in the core area of Shenyang-Fu Demonstration Zone, and erects Shen-Fu Demonstration Zone The connecting bridge with Shenyang is of great significance to the interconnection of rail transit between Shenyang and Fushun.

The Shen-Fu Tram West Extension Project is 5.23 kilometers long and has 4 stations along the line.
After opening to traffic, Shenyang Tram Line 5 will increase from the current 25 stations to 29 stations, and passengers do not need to transfer midway.
