Among them, QR code payment users accounted for 85%, an increase of 6 percentage points compared with 2019.

"The convenience of mobile payment has been the primary consideration for respondents when they choose mobile payment for three consecutive years, followed by habitual use, discounts, and promotional activities. Mobile payment has gradually penetrated into people's daily lives." Wang Yu said.

The report shows that 30% of respondents will often use webcast to shop.

Emerging online payment platforms are organically integrated with offline vendors, vegetable farms, fruit shops and other small physical stores, which are favored by residents.

  The report also disclosed the situation of online fraud in mobile payment. In 2020, the situation of online fraud improved compared with 2019. Only 8% of respondents suffered economic damage from online fraud, a decrease of 4% compared with 2019. .
