Two departments: 15 new provinces are added as pilot provinces for direct settlement of outpatient expenses across provinces

According to the website of the Ministry of Finance, recently, the Office of the National Medical Insurance Bureau and the General Office of the Ministry of Finance jointly issued the "Notice on Printing and Distributing the List of Pilot Provinces for Direct Settlement of New Outpatient Expenses across Provinces". The Notice of the Ministry of Finance of the Bureau on Promoting the Pilot Work of Cross-provincial Direct Settlement of Outpatient Expenses requires that 15 provinces including Shanxi are added as pilot provinces for direct settlement of outpatient expenses across provinces after review by the National Medical Insurance Bureau and the Ministry of Finance.

From February 1, 2021, the trial operation of direct settlement of ordinary outpatient expenses across provinces will be carried out.
