Gerardo Cuerva (Granada 1971) has presided over the Spanish Confederation of Small and Medium Enterprises (Cepyme) since January 2019, replacing Antonio Garamendi, who became CEOE president.

Cuerva runs his family business, a group of companies that orient their business towards the energy sector, and represents before the Government most of the Spanish business fabric, if one takes into account that 98% of Spanish companies are small or medium-sized .
