The Dubai economy said that it closed at least 14 commercial establishments during the month of January due to non-compliance with the precautionary measures.

She explained that during the same period, 30 establishments were warned and 213 violations were signed on other facilities due to non-compliance with the precautionary measures in place to reduce Covid-19.

For his part, Senior Director of the Field Control Department at Dubai Economy, Hassan Bonfour, said that the field work team is keen to cover all areas in the Emirate of Dubai to ensure that commercial establishments adhere to the precautionary measures, as the number of stores that meet the conditions and precautionary measures in January reached 15,045 * stores. .

The violations were distributed among different commercial activities, and among the most prominent were commercial activities that receive the public or have the potential for overcrowding due to the lack of sufficient distance to apply physical distancing.
