in an offer that will last two weeks.
The promotion is part of the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the brand and the National Railway Network and will begin on Monday, February 1.
These discounted Ave tickets can be purchased from this date and will be used to travel "on any High Speed route
from June 23 to December 11
, both inclusive," as announced by Renfe in a press release.
In addition, during this period the promotion of Avlo tickets will continue to be active, the 'low-cost' high-speed train, whose tickets can currently be purchased at 5 euros from its website.
On Monday they will also be available at Renfe.
Just 24 hours after launching the offer, more than 100,000 of these tickets had already been sold;
the majority (80%) for the route between Madrid-Puerta de Atocha and Barcelona-Sants in both directions.
Ave tickets at 15 euros will be available both on the Renfe website and in the usual channels such as travel agencies (both face-to-face and virtual), Renfe Ticket, Post offices or the stations themselves.
During the promotion, all routes will be available as long as the mentioned dates are chosen.
Renfe also wanted to recall that all Ave and Avlo trains "have double certification from AENOR and SGS of their protocols on sanitation, cleaning and disinfection".
