On January 29, Nanjing Port ushered in the 235-meter-long, 75,000-dwt large sea vessel "Guoyu 702".

The Yingongzhou section is located in the Zhenjiang section of Jiangsu Province on the lower reaches of the Yangtze River. The Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and the Yangtze River meet in this water area.

This flight segment is curved and narrow, and the navigation environment is complicated. It is known as the "tiger mouth" of the Yangtze River.

In the past, restricted by the navigation capacity of the Yingongzhou segment, ships with a deadweight of more than 50,000 tons (captain 230 meters) have not been able to reach Nanjing directly.

After the increase in the navigation capacity of the Yingongzhou section, the 90,000-dwt large-scale sea vessel can directly reach Nanjing, which will further release the navigation potential of the 12.5-meter deep water channel of the Yangtze River, enhance the overall efficiency of the deep water channel, accelerate the construction of the Nanjing Yangtze River regional shipping and logistics center, and enhance the capital city of Nanjing Function and primacy of the central city.
