China News Service, Beijing, January 29th (Reporter Liu Yuying) BOE issued an announcement on the 29th in response to the US International Trade Commission’s 337 investigation on it, saying that the company has core key technologies in the OLED field. This 337 investigation has an impact on the company’s current production , Operation will not cause substantial impact.

  According to BOE, the 337 investigation was conducted by SolasOLED Ltd of Ireland.

According to Section 337 of the U.S. Tariff Act of 1930, an application was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission, accusing BOE and related companies of infringing patent rights on specific active matrix OLED display devices and their components that were exported to, imported or sold in the U.S. , Request to initiate Section 337 investigation and issue limited exclusion order and prohibition order.

  According to BOE's verification, SolasOLED Ltd is currently targeted at BOE's specific active matrix OLED products.

A total of 2 US patents are claimed, covering array substrates and driving circuit technologies.

  BOE stated that the company has more than ten years of technology research and development experience in the OLED field, has mastered core key technologies in this field, has independent intellectual property rights, respects the intellectual property rights of others, and conducts intellectual property inspections before the implementation of new technologies to prevent infringement risks.

  After learning of this incident, BOE has set up a special working group to actively respond to the 337 investigation.

BOE stated that, based on preliminary judgment, the Section 337 investigation will not have a substantial impact on current production and operations.

BOE will continue to follow up the progress of related matters, actively communicate and negotiate with related parties, and resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company and all shareholders.
