Prisa
with the acquisition of 7.6% of its capital, as announced this Friday by the owner of El País, Santillana, Cadena SER, Radio Caracol, AS and Los 40 Principales.
In this way, Vivendi acquired the stake that
HSBC Continental Europe
had put up for sale for an approximate amount of
52 million euros
, at a rate of 0.93 euros per share, which represents its exit from the capital of Prisa.
According to the French group, the strategic investment in Prisa is part of its policy to strengthen itself as "a large content, entertainment and media group, strengthening its presence in the Spanish market in Europe, Latin America and the United States."
