"According to the Bank of Russia, the external debt of the Russian Federation as of January 1, 2021 amounted to $ 470.1 billion, having decreased from the beginning of the year by $ 21.3 billion," the statement said.

It is noted that a decrease in debt obligations to non-residents was observed in all sectors of the economy.
