If the United States participates, effective measures will be taken, so Japan must also participate with enthusiasm." He expressed strong expectations for the progress of global warming countermeasures with the inauguration of the new President Biden.



Regarding future economic relations between Japan and the United States, "Under the former Trump administration, even countries with an alliance were treated hostilely, but that will disappear. Trade policies will change at once. It may not be, but it is okay if we proceed in the direction of normalization, "he said, saying that Japan should also strengthen its efforts to promote free trade.
