An all-new 1.3 turbocharged engine fitted with 12V mild hybridization will equip the new Nissan Qashqai.
Developing 140 or 158 hp, it will be mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox or the Xtronic CVT transmission.
This light hybridization, which reduces emissions of 4gCO2 / km, also provides additional torque of 6Nm for 20 seconds.
In addition to this engine, Nissan will market an e-Power version, the particularity of which is to benefit from an electric powertrain, powered by a 157 hp 1.5 thermal engine acting as a generator.
Developing a power of 190 hp, this variation of the Qashqai which will be marketed in 2022 offers the responsiveness of an electric motor without the constraint of recharging.
