Diego Puga (Madrid, 1968) has a doctorate in Economics from the London School of Economics and a research professor at the Center for Monetary and Financial Studies (CEMFI).

He received the Jaime I Prize for Economics in 2020 and is part of the Covid-19 multidisciplinary group created by Vice President Ribera and Minister Duque.
