Around 3.5 million new cars left the production halls between January and December last year, “25 percent fewer than last year”. The number of exported cars fell by a similarly sharp 24 percent to 2.63 million units. Almost three quarters of production goes abroad. Only a quarter is sold domestically. I'm afraid the Greens might see this as a suggestion to demand an “export tax” for German cars in order to further reduce the production of these climate and environmentally harmful monsters.

In 2020, German car manufacturers produced a quarter fewer cars. And most of it was exported. We are guaranteed to be circulating weird ideas again that this could be quite good. The green undergrowth is reliable there.
