It is Heukseok District 2, which was selected as a candidate site for the public redevelopment pilot project.

Right in front of Heukseok Subway Station, it was selected as a candidate for public redevelopment this time after it was designated as a maintenance area in 2008 and there was no progress in the project.

The number of existing households in Heukseok District 2 is such a dense shopping center, and the number of existing households is only 270. After redevelopment, it is expected to increase to 1,310 households, nearly five times the current number.

In addition, 8 locations were listed in the candidates, including Yangpyeong 13 and 14 districts in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yongdu 1-6 and Sinseol 1 districts in Dongdaemun-gu, Bongcheon 13 district in Gwanak-gu, and Sinmun-ro 2-12 district in Jongno-gu, Gangbuk-gu district 5.

All 4,700 houses are supplied to the station area within a 300m radius of the subway station.

In addition to raising the floor area ratio and excluding the pre-sale price limit, it is necessary to provide a certain portion of it as a public rental house instead of receiving benefits such as lending business expenses and relocation expenses at low interest.

To prevent speculation, all eight sites will be designated as land transaction permit zones.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to select more candidate sites by the end of March by reviewing 47 additional sites that meet the conditions out of the 56 sites that participated in the competition last year.

Deputy Prime Minister Hong Nam-ki reaffirmed at this year's first real estate market inspection meeting that "we will put the most emphasis on housing supply."

However, it said that it would strictly enforce the tax reinforcement policy, and drew a line on the possibility of delay or easing of the recent transfer tax.
