January 2021 is on its way to go down in history as one of the months with the most expensive electricity prices in Spain.
In the first two weeks of the year, the cost per megawatt hour (MWh) has registered an average of 72.21 euros, already above the 71.49 euros that was reached during the last major price crisis registered in January 2017 , with the PP in power.
