In response to the recent emergence of "the price of flour has risen and the public is following the trend and collecting grain", the Development and Reform Bureau of Shanghe County, Jinan City, Shandong Province responded.
On January 13, the Shanghe County Development and Reform Bureau announced on its official WeChat account that recently, the price of flour has risen and everyone has followed suit. The flour in grain and oil stores and supermarkets has suddenly become a hot commodity.
In response to this situation, the County Development and Reform Bureau strengthened market monitoring and early warning, and arranged special personnel to go to shopping malls, supermarkets, grain storage enterprises, and flour processing enterprises to keep abreast of changes in grain and flour prices.
The Development and Reform Bureau of Shanghe County stated that through the monitoring and investigation of the prices of grain purchasing enterprises and flour processing enterprises in Shanghe County, the early grain prices rose slightly. The main reason was that due to the large increase in corn prices, some wheat flowed into feed processing enterprises. ; Second, affected by the cold current, farmers' wheat sales are small; third, the demand for flour is increasing near the Spring Festival.
The price of wheat has risen, and the price of flour, which is a downstream product, has risen simultaneously. The price increase of flour is a normal phenomenon.
The Development and Reform Bureau of Shanghe County revealed that at present, Shanghe County has sufficient grain reserves, the price of wheat has fallen to 1.24 yuan/kg, and the prices of grain and flour are within a reasonable range.
The production and operation of flour production enterprises are normal, the supply of flour in major shopping malls and supermarkets is stable, and there is no "grain shortage" or "grainless" situation.
