A business manager thought he could not post an offer on the Pôle Emploi site.

The validation of this announcement was indeed not possible without providing a landline number.

Problem: the leader did not have one.

He recounted his mishap on Twitter in early January.

Pole Emploi did not want to post an ad for a job because I did not have a landline number # 2021

“I did the whole process online.

Then I was contacted by an advisor who did not want to validate my ad because I did not have a landline number ”, confided the manager of IFeelGoods to the

Parisian

.

The business manager considers this method "archaic", arguing that in 2021 "there are many other ways to verify the identity of a speaker!

"

Avoid fraud

Finally, the ad was validated by Pôle emploi.

"The landline number is absolutely not mandatory for filing a job offer," said the organization.

It is simply requested when creating an account, in order to try to fight against cybercrime.

"This is a way of ensuring that the company exists and that the person who submitted the request is indeed part of it," explained Catherine Poux, director of business services at the general management of Pôle emploi.

But the organization also ensures that it is possible to have your registration validated with a mobile phone after verification by an advisor, as was the case with the company IFeelGoods.
